Welcome to the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) submission portal. Here, you can apply for our CERP/CERPIT program, submit continuing education credits (CECs), get pre-approval for continuing education events, and upgrade from CERPIT to CERP status.

We are excited that you are submitting your application to be a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner-in-Training! Please fill out the abbreviated application below.
We will be confirming your status with Niagara College to facilitate your application. The application fee has already been paid for by Niagara College.
In addition to this application, you will need to complete the e-learning course. It is available on our Intuto site.
This form is for current CERPITs to upgrade to CERP status.
This form is for current CERPs/CERPITs to submit continuing education credits for approval. A maximum of 10 CECs can be provided for a single event. Once approved, SER will upload your CECs to your journal for you.
Review process: Submitted applications are reviewed by the Certification Program Coordinator and the SER Continuing Education Committee on an ongoing basis.
Tracking CECs: Once credits have been approved for individual CERPs/CERPITs, SER staff will upload them quarterly or bi-annually to your member journal so that you can track your status. You will need to earn 50 CECs over the 5 year period in order to renew your certification. We recommend that you earn a minimum of 5 CECs per year.

This form is for pre-approval of continuing education offerings by organizations/sponsors. The maximum credits provided for a single event is 10 CECs.
Review process: Submitted applications are reviewed by the Certification Program Coordinator and the SER Continuing Education Committee.
Promotion: Depending upon the type of offering, pre-approved CEC offerings may be added to the SER event calendar, added to the SER certification program pre-approved course list, and/or provided with the CERP program logo for further promotion.
